Mixed Blessings is a concoction of 1000 needles and 1 aspirin, contained in a medicin bottle sealed with a cork lid. It is housed in a rubber stamped, lidded brown board tube, with protective honeycomb brown paper wrap. The multiple is published in an edition of 10 (+2 H.C.).
The phrase ‘a thousand needles’ is often used metaphorically, to describe a sensation or experience that involves a multitude of sharp or piercing elements. It can be employed in various contexts to convey the intensity of a situation or the overwhelming nature of a particular feeling.
